Is it around the reel Abu Garcia Revo / pro shops under stick crankin rod reel combo suitable for me?

I am looking to buy a cane and reel combo to face heavy fishing. Is this the right rod and reel that shouls I can buy for this? Also, what do you consider heavy decoys? Http: / / www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_10205080_100003001_100000000_100003000_100-3-1

Personally I have two configurations I Revo and love them. You must be very well although I'm not exactly sure how "heavy" in front of you is talking about fishing. Echo a lot of my big crankbaits, templates, spinnerbaits and mine and do great. So the reel is fine, you need to think more about their offspring. Will you be constantly releasing heavier bait for larger fish? If so, a heavy bar of action may be the best way to go. If only going to throw an ounce 1 / 2 gig here and there then low, medium or heavy will be more than enough. In my opinion, middle and heavy configuration is heavy enough for anything Bass. The single rod I use are low 6-6 medium / heavy, allowing you to launch anything from templates to a weightless worm. When I hear someone say heavy lures (and is that talking about Bass fishing) I think in templates 1 / 2 ounce, big crankbaits, spinnerbaits big rigs and heavy as a Carolina rigged worm.
