Chumming for catfish is a good idea if you know the catfish are in the region. Is this a good idea of all time? Some swear that the way forward and others say they do not do much if any difference. Personally, I think that if the fish in the same place and often the friends of each time zone will be there to take the most fish.

If you're not familiar with chumming it is simply put a lot of bait in an area you plan to fish. There are two reasons for CHUM. A if you do quite often in the same location as the catfish will come after him. Two, if there are fish in the region that sometimes lead to a feeding frenzy in competition with other fish to get the goodies. But remember that only works if the catfish are there.
