Dungeness Crab Fishing Rules in California?

When does the season start?end? How many crabs are allowed per person? How many traps are allowed per person?

i live north of you (vancouver island) and up here you are allowed to keep are 10 a day and must be over 6 inches in width of the shell. You can only keep males as well, you can tell they are male by there under body, if its like a bullet shape its a male, if its very wide and doesnt look like a bullet, its female. You can fish 2 crab traps as well, but would leave them on a 12 hour soak usually, sometimes longer and as for the dates i looked on http://www.dfg.ca.gov/marine/dungeness.asp im not sure where you will be fishing so the regs are always the best way to avoid fines, and enjoy crabbing.
