Could someone advise me on the best method of catching bream?

I am currently in Haarlem, the Netherlands so there is no shortage of ways Water, canals and lakes, but I do not know the best method to catch these fish. I bought a starter kit at a local fishing shop, consists of: 24 larvae, 8 sinkers, hooks 45 (3 sizes: one a little smaller than an inch long, an inch accuracy, and the other a little larger than an inch.) September tour, four carriages, 3 templates, spinner blades 3, a rail line and 6 pounds. Th is a shakespeare rod telescopic, quite cheap. Perhaps from 4.5 to 5 feet long. Any advice on how to set that up for freshwater fish would be great!

Try to set your float (the smallest) to about 2 meters of the final line. Make a plan on the hook. The worms can work. but maggots and leeches work best. I hope this works.
