Ich wiped out my tank. Now what?
Hi-
I have a 12 gallon marineland eclipse. The fish developed white spots on them early this week. I tried medicating the tank with super ich cure but it was too late. Every fish died. Now that the tank has no other life in it will the ich die off? How long will that take? I did a PWC last night and added more super ich cure thinking maybe that would kill it all off if none are in the fish themselves. How long should I waith before adding a new fish?
Ich will die if they can't find host's.
So if you just leave the tank without any fish you will be good.
Wait about 1 week. Just to be safe.
After that you have a new tank to do watever you choose!
