Life mini-tips?

I am looking for some general advice on everyday things. For example, recently I learned that learning vocabulary shortly before going to bed will help you remember words better. Other: For example, in the memorization of words such as dogs, fish, house, book, is more effective test-fish-house dog-book-dog-fish-house-book, etc., that dog-dog-fish-fish-from house to house-book-book. They do not have to be about memorization.
