Packery Channel Fishing

packery channel fishing
which is better for a spring reel / boat fishing Daiwa or Penn sargus black gold spinning reels?

I live in south Texas / north island and a father fishing plan from Bob Hall Pier and the channel packery and make a little surf fishing. I'll be directed to cats, red drum, black dum, Spanish macks and the Daiwa seabass is $ 85 and Penn is $ 90 so the price is not a problem

The sargus is a piece of sh * t. Do not buy it. It is of poor quality, and although the salt water touts "" friendly face, it is not. The gears are susceptible to oxidation and corrosion, and decided not to use the brass alloy more expensive or there. I a of these services, and was horrified by the construction. Ridiculous. For $ 50 would be a good reel - but at $ 90 - Of course not. The Daiwa is much better. It is a reel much stronger overall. And if you're on a dock / pier, you will not need the added distance would bring another reel. Take Daiwa and not look back. It will serve you well. BG60 is great unless you really need the additional line cap. Then the BG90.
