Salmon Fishing Lake Michigan

There are rainbow trout or salmon fishing near Wakefield, mich. in September?
I am planning a short vacation to the lake Sunday near Wakefield, Michigan this fall (September). Are there places within an hour's drive away where you can fish for rainbow trout and salmon? If so - what type of equipment requires a decoy? I would also like to hear from some specific locations
In general, they can run so early, depending weather but is usually the end of September or the first two weeks in October you need the rain to bring them into the tributaries. If there is no rain to be located off the coast at the mouth of the People waiting to swim back and forth. I can use a 7-foot light or med light rod with 8 pound test. If you are in the lake is still throwing spoons from shore. KO Wobblers bit cores or blue / silver, pale green / silver or orange / silver. The Tribe i always use mini foo templates with a combination of black and another color. Make sure you have several colors, as they change what they want from hour to hour sometimes. I only use mini foos in 1 / 32 or 1 / 64 oz Buy the egg floats in a balanced way so it is easy to throw the little light mini foos. Council worms or wax worms, worms are the best, I use three on the hook. In the Tribe if the water is really stained bait go to bottom Berkley power in orange or pale green with a lead of 1 m from the ballast. Among the spoons, and mini foos PowerBait that's all you need. Oh, if the Tribe's water is very clear that I would use minnows.
