Sea Fishing Trips Florida

Where to collect inverts and fish in the Florida Keys?
About 8 months ago I traveled to Bahia Honda state park and I went snorkeling there. There was plenty of sponges and sea fans as well as a few nice fish. I own a Salt Water Reef tank, and that time I went to Bahia Honda, I collected a few hermit crabs and serpent startfish. I am planning now a trip to go back in about 2 weeks and hopefully bring some more for my new bigger fish tank. I know what specimens can and cannot be collected in Florida. I did my homework many years ago.
I recently checked the Bahia Honda State Park website and it says that basically nothing can be collected. My question basically is if Bahia Honda is now considered a Sanctuary Protected area, and if so, which other beach/zone in the area would you recommend for collecting fish, inverts and other specimens? Thank you.
I'm pretty sure it is illegal everywhere without a commercial sales permit, and even then the restriction are pretty tough. I live here in Florida and saw my friend with a $1000 dollar fine for taking from a reef. When you bring your boat back in, the Fish and Wildlife Service just sits there and waits to check containers and coolers.
I'm sorry this doesn't help you find a place. Try calling the FWS and they will let you know specifics.
Cheers
